MALAYSIAN ARMY TRAINING AND DOCTRINE COMMAND
HISTORY
TRADOC was established on 1 January
1994, which utilised the appointments of the XI Division Headquarters (PSTD).
It was originally located at Imphal Camp, Kuala
Lumpur. In the year 2010, TRADOC HQ was relocated to
SiRusa Camp, Port Dickson and in the year 2014, it has once again moved to
Segenting Camp, Port Dickson till today. The TRADOC organization has three main
departments which are the General Management Department (BPA), the Training
Management Department (BPL) and the Doctrine Development Department (BPD).
VISION
To become a catalyst for excellence in educating and training Malaysia Army Personnel towards the year 2020.
MISSION
To manage and execute individual
training in line with the Malaysian Army doctrine development through the
application of training and competency based evaluation to fulfill the
Malaysian Army training requirements.
OBJECTIVE
To increase the level of individual
training quality based on the Malaysian Army training philosophy and
developing/updating the Malaysian Army’s doctrine to allow the organisation to
defend the nation as well as increasing the management of administrative and
logistics matters.

INFORMATION AND FACILITIES
Segenting Camp which is located next to
the Malaysian Peacekeeping Centre (PPM) covers an area of 87.349 acres. The
length of the beach facing the Straits of Malacca is as long as 1.5km. The
construction of the camp started on 16 June 2008 and was mounted by the Army
College (KTD) on 4 January 2012. The Segenting Camp complex was built based on
the concept of modern buildings with the latest facilities and amenities like
the administrative block, class rooms, a multi-purpose hall, an auditorium, a
sports complex, a football stadium, a gymnasium, a mosque, a swimming pool and
a cafeteria. These facilities have been allocated for the usage of course
participants from KTD and also for all Malaysian Army personnel who are
assigned to the main complex and the other units in the vicinity.
